My name is Tria. I love yoga and I love where I live, so I’m excited to bring a new yoga studio to our community. CSY is a registered LLC, started in 2020. The studio is an extension of our home, and my family has poured its heart into this space. I hope you feel at home here as well. I started practicing yoga 13 years ago -- my husband had all sorts of fun hobbies, and I wanted one of my own. As soon as I tried yoga I fell in love! I love how yoga always accepts me where I am every day, with new challenges when I need a challenge, or with grace and ease when I need to be more gentle with myself. I decided to become a yoga teacher, because if something makes you happier and healthier, why not share it with those around you? It’s a practice to connect you to yourself and to fill your heart with joy! That is what I have found for myself and what I want to give to you every time you walk through the door at Church Street Yoga. I’m also a stay-at-home mom to 2 young boys, and I know what it’s like to have a single income household. I believe yoga should be financially accessible to everyone who wants to participate, so Church Street Yoga has a “pay what you can” policy. I really love yoga and I really love people, and I don’t want money to stand in the way of bringing yoga to people, and people to yoga. Come one, come all!!
